San Diego Zoo & Safari Park

Revolutionizing venue showcasing with advanced 3D tours and interactive maps, this project enhances communication, boosts sales, and streamlines operations.

Project Overview: This initiative focused on developing comprehensive 3D tours and interactive maps for the San Diego Zoo and Safari Park Wild Events venues. The virtual tours cover 13 event spaces, including indoor and outdoor areas, unique exhibits, and scenic landscapes, providing a complete view of the versatile venues at both locations in Southern California.

Objective and Application: The primary goal was to empower the events team at the San Diego Zoo and Safari Park, enabling them to offer potential clients a detailed, immersive experience of the venues without the need for physical visits. This tool is designed to streamline the event planning process, from initial inquiry to final booking.

Technological Innovation: By integrating state-of-the-art 3D visualization technology, the tours include interactive elements and embedded content such as time lapse videos for way finding, floor plans, catering menus and customizable event layouts. This approach not only enhances the user experience but also serves as an innovative marketing tool, setting the San Diego Zoo and Safari Park apart in a competitive market. These tours have been seamlessly embedded onto their Wild Events website for each venue, making them easily accessible to potential clients.

Impact and Success: The implementation of the 3D tours has significantly improved communication between the venues and their clients, leading to quicker decision-making and seamless communication when booking. It has become an indispensable asset for the San Diego Zoo and Safari Park, demonstrating the power of technology to transform traditional venue showcasing and event planning.
